SNOW UPDATE

Winter conditions prevail at the McCloud end of the trail. Snow lovers should be aware that many of the Forest Service roads that we all depend upon for access to the trail have not been plowed, so trail users will have to hike in from the highway. Thank you Rodney Sharp for the snow pictures.

At the Burney end the snow has melted, so bicyclists are out in numbers. Thank you Peter Provost for the trail pic.

Great Shasta Rail Trail early January.

The trail near Burney - early January.

Esperanza is closed at highway 89.
